معلومات التأشيرة

As an international student, you will need a student visa to study at NCUK International Study Centre. This page provides all the essential information you need to navigate the visa application process smoothly. Whether you’re applying for a student visa or need guidance on creating your UKVI account, we’ve got you covered.

Before you can apply for a UK student visa, there are important steps you need to complete. One of the first is obtaining a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from the International Study Centre. This is a unique reference number you’ll need to include in your visa application.

Pre-CAS checks:

To ensure that you’re eligible for a CAS, the International Study Centre will perform a few essential checks:

  • Eligibility assessment: You must complete a Pre-CAS interview to allow us to assess whether your chosen course meets the visa requirements and whether you fulfil the criteria to study in the UK.
  • Financial requirements: You must demonstrate that you have enough funds to cover your tuition fees and living expenses while in the UK. The exact amount will depend on your course and location.
  • Academic qualifications: Ensure that you have the necessary qualifications to meet the entry requirements for your course.
  • English Language proficiency: Different visa rules apply for English language programmes, depending on your country of origin and the length of your intended study. In some cases, you may be required to take a Secure English Language Test (SELT) as part of your visa application. You can find more information about SELTs here. Please email pathways@malvernplc.com for more information.

Once these checks are completed, the International Study Centre will issue your CAS, and you can proceed to apply for your visa.

Once you have your CAS, you’re ready to apply for a UK student visa. Here are the steps to follow:

  • Complete the online application: Visit the UK Government’s official website and fill out the online visa application form.
  • Pay the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS): As part of the visa process, you’ll need to pay the IHS, which provides you with access to the UK’s National Health Service (NHS).
  • Provide biometrics: After submitting your application, you may need to attend a visa application centre to provide your biometrics (fingerprints and photograph).
  • Submit supporting documents: Make sure you provide all required documents (see below).

Once your application is submitted, the Home Office will process your visa and, if approved, you will receive your visa.

To apply for your visa, you must first create an account with the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) service. Here’s how to do it:

  • Visit the UKVI website: Go to the UKVI website to begin the account creation process.
  • Complete the registration form: Enter your personal details, including your full name, date of birth, nationality, and email address.
  • Set up a secure password: Choose a secure password to protect your account and ensure your application is safe.
  • Verify your identity: Follow the instructions to verify your email address, ensuring the information is accurate.

Once your account is set up, you’ll be able to track your visa application and manage all correspondence related to your visa process.

To ensure your application is processed smoothly, it’s essential to provide all necessary documents. Here’s a list of what you’ll need:

  • Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS): A unique reference number from the UEL International Study Centre that confirms your place on the course.
  • Valid passport: Your current passport or travel document, valid for the entire duration of your course.
  • Proof of financial support: Evidence that you have sufficient funds to cover your tuition fees and living expenses. This may include bank statements or financial guarantees.
  • Proof of English proficiency: Your IELTS or equivalent qualification, if applicable.
  • Academic transcripts and certificates: Copies of your previous qualifications and grades.
  • Tuberculosis (TB) test results: If applicable, depending on your country of origin, you may need to provide evidence of a TB test.
  • Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) Payment: Proof that you have paid the immigration health surcharge, which allows you to access healthcare in the UK.
  • Passport-sized photograph: A recent passport-sized photograph that meets UKVI standards.

Ensure that all documents are in English or accompanied by a certified translation.
