Welcome from our Academic Manager

As Academic Manager, I am delighted to welcome you to the NCUK International Study Centre. With over 25 years of experience in higher education across the UK, Ireland, the US, the Middle East, Malaysia, and Australia, I am passionate about helping students from around the world achieve their academic ambitions. My background includes senior roles at New York University in London where I served as Deputy Director and Professor and Hult International Business School where I served as Dean of Research and Professor. I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science alongside two PhDs, one in Computer Information Systems and another in Management.

At our International Study Centre, we are proud to support you as you take the next step towards your future. Through the International Foundation Year, you will develop the knowledge, confidence, and academic skills needed to succeed at university and beyond. You will strengthen your subject understanding while building essential research and study skills, all within a supportive environment where every decision you make is well-informed and aligned with your goals.

Our Malvern International Study Centre is based in the heart of London, just a few minutes’ walk from King's Cross Station in Zone 1, placing you at the centre of the city with excellent connections to explore everything London has to offer.

Small class sizes

You will study a range of subject modules in small interactive and supportive classes with a focus on your personal development to help you achieve, succeed and grow. We make sure we can spend time with every student and give them the support they need to reach their full potential.

University-style teaching

Through every step of your journey with us, you will be supported by highly qualified teachers. You will get used to university style teaching whilst building your abilities to study effectively through 24 hours of class teaching per week and regular personal tutorial sessions.

Dedicated support team

Your personal tutor will meet with you regularly to ensure you are on track to pass the programme and progress to your chosen degree and any issues you might have inside or outside the classroom. During your programme you’ll be able to visit universities to see which one is the best fit for you. Our Placements team will advise you on how, when and what degree programme to apply for.

Accounting & Finance

This programme is the first step towards a degree in Accounting & Finance, offering core modules in Business, Sociology and Mathematics for Business to build a strong academic foundation.

Business & Management

This programme equips students with essential skills for degrees in areas such as International Business Management at leading UK universities, including Queen Mary University of London, the University of Manchester, and the University of Exeter.

Computer Science

This programme prepares students for degrees in fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and Data Science at top NCUK partner universities. It also offers opportunities to combine Computer Science with subjects like Business, Astrophysics, or Mathematics.

Engineering

This programme prepares students for degrees in Engineering at top NCUK partner universities, with options such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and more.

Humanities & Social Science

This programme prepares students for further study in areas including International Relations, Sociology, Psychology, History, and Journalism.

Nursing

This programme guarantees progression from our International Foundation Year to a Nursing degree at the University of Huddersfield, providing a direct and supported route into the profession.

Science

This programme supports entry into a wide range of science-related degrees at top NCUK partner universities, with areas of study including Physics, Chemistry, and Bioscience.

I was shown all of the university options, and I was guided and supported through the application process. I received two offers and now I’m studying Law LLB at the University of Leeds.
